See it in action

A first look at MiGiC Poly

A short demo — chords in, full instruments out, in real time.

A decade-old problem

Guitar-to-MIDI has always meant one note at a time.

Since the dawn of guitar synthesizers, players have been forced to choose: play one note at a time with clean tracking, or strum chords and watch the MIDI fall apart.

MiGiC Poly is our answer.

6

voices tracked

independently, simultaneously, in real time.

Full chord detection
Per-note pitch tracking
Ultra-low latency
Standard guitar, no hex / GK-style pickup

Built for chords

An engine unlike anything before it

Polyphonic tracking, a neural amp modeller, a pro-grade synth library, neural effects, and a live performance mixer — all under one plugin.

The core breakthrough

Every note, heard at once

MiGiC Poly's proprietary engine resolves every note in your guitar's raw signal and tracks them independently. Play a full G major — get every note, cleanly, instantly. No hex pickup. No MIDI controller. Just your guitar.

  • True 6-voice polyphony — not chord-guessing, actual per-note detection
  • Plays anything you play — chords, arpeggios, hybrid picking, tapping
  • Any guitar, any pickup — your existing rig is all you need

Onboard amp modeller

State-of-the-art neural amp modelling, on board

MiGiC Poly ships with a complete neural amp modeller embedded right inside the plugin — no external chain, no profiling rig, no separate VST. State-of-the-art tone, generated by neural networks running natively as you play, so your chord-tracked MIDI and your live guitar tone come from one place.

  • Embedded, not bridged — runs natively inside MiGiC Poly, no extra plugin chain
  • State-of-the-art tone — neural-network amp modelling with studio-grade realism
  • Live-ready latency — sculpted tones for the stage, not just the mix

Live mixer

Blend synth and guitar on the fly

Play a chord — hear it as a synth and as your modelled guitar rig, at the same time. The built-in mixer lets you dial the balance between your MIDI-driven VSTi/AUi instruments and the amp modeller in real time, so you land the exact blend of electronic and electric character, live or in the studio.

  • Gain between synth and amp — balance VSTi/AUi output against the guitar modeller
  • Built for the stage — tweak the mix mid-performance without touching your DAW
  • Complete signal chain — one plugin, from pickup to final mix

Built-in polysynth

Pro-grade sounds, packed in

MiGiC Poly ships with a brand-new embedded synth engine and a carefully curated library of studio-quality presets. From grand pianos and cinematic keys to warm analog pads, supersaws, and chiptune bleeps — plug in and play without ever opening another VST.

  • New polyphonic synth engine — built from the ground up for chord-aware voicing
  • 14+ studio-quality presets — acoustic, analog, cinematic, retro, and more
  • No external plugin needed — boot MiGiC Poly, pick a sound, play a chord

neFX

Neural effects that listen to your playing

A new class of effects, exclusive to MiGiC Poly. neFX don't process your sound the old way — they model pitch directly from your performance, then transform every note in ways no conventional effect can. Two ship today, with more in active development.

neFX · Polyphonic Octaves

Polyphonic in name. Polyphonic in truth.

Think POG-style pedals — but with every note in your chord finally tracked independently. Where classic polyphonic-octave pedals shift your chord as a single signal (smearing the voicing the moment you stop playing single notes), Polyphonic Octaves tracks each note on its own, octave-shifts each one individually, and voices the result as a true chord. Sub-bass weight, shimmer-octave brilliance, or both at once — without the smear.

  • True per-note octaves — no aliasing, no smear when you hit chord stabs
  • Up and down, simultaneously — sub-bass body and shimmer brilliance in one move
  • Musical shaping — filter, attack and detune sculpt the voicing in real time

neFX · Piano Morph

A guitar and a grand piano, fused note by note

Piano Morph is something the guitar world has never heard before. Each note from your guitar is hybridized with the body of a sampled grand piano — per note, in real time. Strum a chord and you don't get a piano laid on top; you get a true hybrid where every voice has its own blend of strings and hammers. Shape the morph with LFO and envelope and you have an instrument that breathes on every transient.

  • Per-note morph — every voice in your chord blends independently
  • Crossfade live — slide from clean guitar to full grand piano on a single fader
  • Animated and expressive — LFO and envelope make the hybrid feel alive on every pick

Years in the making

We've been working on this since day one.

When MiGiC shipped back in 2017, the first question every player asked was the same one: “Can it do chords?”

For years, the honest answer was no. Polyphonic pitch detection — on a raw guitar signal, with musical timing, in real time — was considered borderline impossible. We said “one day.”

That day is today.

MiGiC Poly isn't an incremental update. It's the feature a generation of guitarists has been waiting for, built by the same independent team that's been obsessing over this problem for a decade from Karlskrona, Sweden.
